A weekend with family

After we left Stonehenge, we made our way to London, and actually got through the M25 before it got busy :) though I had to keep stopping for breaks. We spent the weekend in Dartford with my brother, sister-in-law and beautiful niece, and it was lovely for us all to catch up as we all have very busy, and different, lives. Many thanks to Louise for being such a wonderful host and to Ciara for sharing her space with her cousins.

We also went to visit an archeological site, Lullingstone, close to Dartford. It is not quite such a grand scale as Bath, but it is very interesting to see, and very well set up for kids. This time Toni joined in the dress-up. The girls found the material too coarse, them being touchy-feely people.
The space behind Grainne contains the fundaments of a roman villa

We followed the educative part with a walk and picnic in the woods...

...and will most definitely return for more!
